MountAIn and Witekio announce strategic collaboration at Embedded World 2026 to enable large-scale edge AI deployment for smart connected objects

Nuremberg, March 9, 2026

MountAIn, a global pioneer in Edge AI infrastructure, and Witekio, Avnet’s embedded software services arm offering full lifecycle development and maintenance, today announced a strategic collaboration at Embedded World 2026. This partnership aims to accelerate and streamline the large-scale deployment and lifecycle management of smart connected objects worldwide.

The collaboration integrates MountAIn’s advanced Edge AI infrastructure – including its proprietary compiler, deployment tools, and MLOps SaaS platform – with Witekio’s robust Fleet Management platform, Kamea. By bringing these distinct technologies together, the two companies provide a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for developers and industrial operators seeking to embed and manage intelligence directly on edge devices.

Bridging the gap between AI deployment and fleet management

As the industry shifts toward deploying Physical AI on remote and constrained hardware, managing these dispersed assets becomes a critical challenge. By pairing MountAIn’s infrastructure, which drastically reduces operational costs and development cycles, with Witekio’s secure over-the-air (OTA) update and fleet monitoring capabilities, the partnership eliminates the friction of maintaining complex AI models in the field.

This joint offering allows companies to:

  • Seamlessly compile and deploy optimized AI models onto cost-efficient microcontrollers.
  • Monitor, manage, and update device fleets securely at scale.
  • Maintain operational robustness and real-time situational intelligence for remote assets without relying heavily on continuous cloud connectivity.

Leadership on the vision

“The integration of hardware and software cannot be an afterthought when scaling intelligent systems,” said Vincent Huard, Co-founder and CEO of MountAIn. “By combining our Edge AI infrastructure with Witekio’s proven fleet management capabilities, we are providing the essential link that enables sophisticated AI to not only be deployed but reliably managed across millions of devices in the field.”

Pierre Gal, Head of Product at Witekio, added: “This collaboration reflects our ongoing investment in enabling AI at the edge. As more OEMs move from experimentation to real deployment, the challenge is no longer just building models, but deploying, securing, and maintaining them across large fleets of devices. By combining MountAIn’s Edge AI infrastructure with the Kamea device management platform, we provide a streamlined path for companies to industrialize AI while keeping full control over their systems throughout their lifecycle.”
